I stop on the mountain. I am going first because I have nerves of steel. I look down the hill and I cling to the brakes. People had fallen off before and I might fall too.
I stand up on my pedals, lean forward and let the wheels spin slowly. I glide down the mountain.
I skid to a stop on the track and glance back. Ollie is zooming down the mountain now. He's smiling widely.
He had more fun I had, because he is laughing. I was happy too.
In this piece of writing I was learning how to spell. I went well because I tried to sound out, I spelled mountain biking. My next steps are to ask for help when I am stuck.
